Chief Accountant - Shipping / Logistics - Liberia

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and committed Finance Manager to work for a leading international Shipping company within their operations in West Africa. The role will be based in Liberia on a residential status.

The successful Chief Accountant will be responsible for all accounting functions. Responsibiliti es will include:
• Financial reporting
• Interpreting accounting data
• Support budgets and forecasting activities
• Preparing monthly and quarterly reports
• Optimising and improving accounting and financial processes
• Analysing monthly sales

Personal Requirements
• Must have a strong background in Accounting
• Previous experience working within a shipping / container / logistics company is desirable
• Previous experience of working in Africa is extremely advantageous
• Fluency in English is a must
• Experience of international accounting standards IAS / IFRS would be advantageous

Package:
• 4-6,000 USD per month
• Accommodation provided
• 30 days holiday per annum
